QC Plastics Welcomes New Shop Manager
Independence, IA (September 24, 2021) QC Plastics is pleased to announce the addition of Ben Kvigne as a Shop Manager.
Kvigne first attended high school at North Crawford Community School District in Soldiers Grover, Wisconsin. Following high school, he attended both Kirkwood Community College and the University of Wisconsin River Falls, where he received his bachelor’s in Conservation.
Before QC Plastics, he worked for 12 years at the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments. There he worked as an Iowa Waste Exchange Resource Specialist for ten years and then was the Director of Regional Transit for two years.
Kvigne states, “Working for QC Plastics has been very rewarding. We are experiencing growth as a company and, as you might expect, growth comes with challenges. I have enjoyed being a part of the planning process in overcoming these challenges. The owners, managers, and shop employees are great to work with. I am excited to see where our success takes us in the coming years.”
Kvigne and his wife and three kids call Winthrop, Iowa home. During his free time, he enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.
